ROYAL CADET
MEET YOUR
TRAINER
At Royal Cadet Ranch we are dedicated to providing practical animal training services with a foundation grounded in consistency and establishing leadership for the “every day” owner. Our team is led by Isaac Cadet, a Certified Lyons Legacy Trainer and Certified National Mounted Police Trainer. Isaac has served his country in various positions including; Trainer, Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Special Response Officer, Tactical Response Officer, Federal Task Force, and CW2 Rotary Wing Pilot just to name a few. Isaac's ability to teach and lead, even while under pressure is a testament to his adaptive approach to obstacles. This same approach led to his success with horses and dogs. Isaac pulls from a blend of animal training methods and animal psychology to help your equine and canine partner understand what is being asked. Just as with people, not every furry family member is identical in their drive or learning style.
By focusing on the fundamental exercises that establish leadership, consistency, and trust; our goal is to have you seen as the “herd” or “pack” leader of your family. Thus creating a safer more enjoyable ownership.

APPROACH
HORSES
We use a combination of natural horsemanship, modern training techniques, equine psychology, and good ole' fashion discipline to produce a safe horse our clients will enjoy riding out on the trails or in the arena. We believe in a structured, academic approach, with soft hands, in order to help the horse learn to better manage their emotions. Regardless of the breed or price each horse will get the "royal treatment" during their time training with us.
DOGS
Our approach to dog training comes from a combination of personal experience training, time as a Detroit Police Officer, and Tactical Response Officer for the United States Army. We believe our canine companions are at their very best when provided a "job", boundaries, and a healthy pack structure at home. We cover behavioral issues, obedience, on/off leash training, tracking, and more.
